High-Speed Temperature Scanner
A challenge for plants running multiple glass types with a variety of coatings has been how to accurately measure the glass temperature with a minimum input from the operator, particularly when the coating typically has a very low emissivity. This can be solved by connecting the compact SOLOnet SN5 into the LANDSCAN system viewing the glass from underneath; the dedicated glass toughening software uses this signal to compensate the temperature measurement for accurate measurements independent of surface coating.
